Miette looks so fierce. In reality she is a marshmallow... a freaky, psychotic, sharp-clawed and easily-spooked yet oddly affectionate marshmallow. This piece was part of the Mimic-Octopus PET show, in 2003.

By the way, she isn't intended to look like she's in danger or on fire or anything like that... rather I was thinking of her as a demonic cat, dancing amongst the flames and pugilistically challenging all comers.
