All my life I have been fascinated by the mysterious world of mermaids. In the ancient, ageless depths far below the storms lie treasures rich and strange. Otherworldly voices are heard singing somewhere, far away... what are they saying? In my art I return again and again to the fascinating entanglements of textures and colors that speak to me of water, of undersea caves, of dripping moss or tidepools full of starfish and anemones. Here are some of the pieces in which I have attempted to capture the elusive beauty of this imaginary undersea realm.
